The Pentatone Equalizer is a standalone version of the 5-band equalizer section from the Ibanez Pentatone Preamp. It adds a continuously variable Q control for each band, allowing for a wider range of sound shaping and even more detailed tone customization.
Additionally, the ±9 V power supply circuit provides a broad margin of operation. This makes the parametric equalizer suitable not only for electric guitars but also for high-level output signal equipment, such as electric basses and keyboards.
Continuously variable Q control on each band.

Adjust the overall signal level from -∞dB to +6dB.

About Ibanez
Ibanez is a manufacturer of guitars and basses based in Japan. The name is derived from the Spanish luthier Salvador Ibanez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The recession of 1929 affected the company, which closed in 1933. The Japanese market was left underserved, so in 1935 the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish guitars on its own, distributing them under the name "Ibanez Salvador". It later changed the name to "Ibanez".
