About the Headless Series
The 'headless' construction of the EHB basses and the specially designed body allow bassists to maintain a similar playing position whether sitting or standing. Its ergonomic, contoured design combined with a chambered body makes it a lightweight, well-balanced, and comfortable instrument, ideal for long performances or practice sessions. Additionally, the upper half of the back of the body is angled, allowing the bass to rest closer to the player's body for better control and a more ergonomic feel.
About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name comes from Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, leading to its closure in 1933. The Japanese market was left underserved, so in 1935, the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish-style guitars under the name "Ibanez Salvador," which later became simply "Ibanez."
