About Manuel Rodríguez
Manuel Rodríguez, also known as MR, is a renowned name in the world of flamenco and classical guitars, known for crafting distinctive instruments suited for the most prominent artists worldwide, not just flamenco players. Each guitar is unique and individual.
The Manuel Rodríguez guitars have a rich history dating back to the early 20th century. The lineage descends from flamenco guitarist Manuel Rodríguez Marequi, dedicated to guitar making, which began with fully handcrafted production in Madrid. Later, Manuel Rodríguez moved to Los Angeles, where he built guitars for actors and American artists. In 1973, the brand returned to Spain to offer its catalog to the world.
