Phaser equipped with a phase/vibrato switch that allows you to bypass the original signal to isolate the phaser effect, creating a vibrato-like sound.
- Phaser/Vibrato
- 100% analog
- True bypass
- Made in the USA
Grand Orbiter is a four-stage OTA-based phaser with a diverse set of features that provide significant tonal versatility. It features a three-way switch to select between modulation ranges.
- Mode 1: Slow and smooth
- Mode 2: Removes the oscillator for use as a filter only
- Mode 3: Fast and prominent
The Master Rate control adjusts the LFO speed in each of these modes, and the blinking red LED acts as a visual indicator, even when the effect is in bypass mode.
The Depth control blends the delayed signal with the dry signal and controls the intensity of the effect.
The Sweep control governs the peak frequency of the phase signal tone. Turned fully clockwise, the sweep is lively and intense; turning it counterclockwise produces a darker, more relaxed peak.
The Resonance control offers a wide range of regeneration control, and at higher settings, adds a more pronounced and resonant tone.
The Grand Orbiter can also be used as a true tone vibrato with the "Phase / Vibrato" switch. When set to "Vibrato" mode, the dry signal is eliminated, and the Depth controls function as a volume control.
