The body of the BB434 Tobacco Brown Sunburst is made from classic alder, while Yamaha’s neck features a multi-piece construction of maple and mahogany, along with the innovative "Miter" attachment system. Two slanted embedded screws pull the neck into the neck pocket, while four additional screws ensure a particularly stable connection. Additionally, the electric bass has a rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium frets. The Yamaha BB434 Tobacco Brown Sunburst is equipped with a split coil pickup and a single-coil pickup with Alnico V magnets.
