The Player II Modified Active Precision Bass is a classic bass designed for the modern musician. Every aspect of the neck is crafted for fast, smooth playing, from the modern 'C' profile with a satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable single-piece rosewood or maple fingerboard with a 9.5" radius and smooth rounded edges, along with 20 medium jumbo frets.
The alder body delivers the classic Fender punch and is available in a range of exciting new finishes. The Player II Modified Precision Bass neck pickup and noiseless Jazz Bass bridge pickup provide the classic Fender thump and growl while eliminating unwanted noise. The new active preamp with tone controls for active/passive operation and an enhanced EQ section gives players the perfect tool to shape their favorite tones. The HiMass bridge with four saddles, conical shaft tuning machines, and TUSQ nut work together to ensure incredibly stable tuning even during the most demanding performances.
