The Player II Modified Active Precision Bass is a classic bass designed for the modern player. Every detail of the neck is crafted for fast, smooth playing—from the modern “C” profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable one-piece rosewood or maple fingerboard with a 9.5" radius and smooth rounded edges, plus 20 medium jumbo frets.
The alder body delivers Fender’s classic punch and comes in a variety of exciting new finishes. The Player II Modified Precision Bass neck pickup and Noiseless Jazz Bass bridge pickup deliver Fender’s signature thump and growl while eliminating unwanted noise. The new active preamp with active/passive tone control and enhanced EQ section gives players the perfect tool to dial in their favorite tones. The 4-saddle HiMass bridge, tapered shaft tuners, and TUSQ nut combine to maintain incredibly stable tuning even under the most demanding performances.
