The Player II Modified Active Precision Bass is a classic bass designed for the modern musician. Every aspect of the neck is crafted for fast, smooth playing—from the modern "C" profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable one-piece rosewood or maple fingerboard with a 9.5" radius and soft rounded edges, plus 20 medium jumbo frets.
The alder body delivers Fender’s classic punch and is available in a variety of exciting new finishes. The Player II Modified Precision Bass neck pickup and Noiseless Jazz Bass bridge pickup offer that classic Fender thump and growl while eliminating unwanted noise. The new active preamp with active/passive tone control and enhanced EQ section gives players the perfect tool to dial in their favorite tones. The 4-saddle HiMass bridge, tapered shaft tuners, and TUSQ nut work together to maintain incredibly stable tuning even during the most demanding performances.
