The Player II Modified Active Precision Bass is a classic bass designed for the modern musician. Everything on the neck is crafted for fast, smooth playing, from the modern 'C' profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable one-piece palisander or maple fingerboard with a 9.5" radius and smooth rounded edges, along with 20 medium jumbo frets.
The alder body delivers the classic Fender punch and is available in a variety of new and exciting finishes. The Player II Modified Precision Bass neck pickup and noiseless Jazz Bass bridge pickup provide Fender’s signature thump and growl while eliminating unwanted noise. The new active preamp with active/passive tone control and an improved EQ section give players the perfect tool to shape their ideal tone. The HiMass bridge with four saddles, conical-string tuning machines, and TUSQ nut work together to ensure incredibly stable tuning even during the most demanding performances.
