The Player II Modified Active Jazz Bass is a classic bass designed for the modern musician. The neck is optimized for fast, smooth playing, featuring a modern 'C' profile with a satin urethane finish on the back, and a comfortable, one-piece rosewood or maple fingerboard with a 9.5" radius and smooth rounded edges, along with 20 Medium Jumbo frets. The alder body delivers the iconic Fender punch and is available in a variety of new, exciting finishes.
The Player II noiseless pickups deliver the classic Jazz Bass growl without unwanted noise. The new active preamp with tone controls (active/passive switch and EQ section) provides musicians with the perfect tool to shape their ideal tone. The HiMass bridge with four saddles, conical-shaft tuning machines, and TUSQ nut work together to ensure incredibly stable tuning even during the most demanding performances.
