For over 40 years, Ibanez has been pioneering new frontiers in bass development, pushing the boundaries of conventional designs to inspire bassists of all styles and skill levels to explore new ways of self-expression. This spirit of exploration has led to the creation of some of the most successful and popular production basses of all time. It is this same drive to bring fresh and relevant ideas to the forefront that serves as the foundation for an ongoing exploratory project, aptly named the Ibanez Bass Workshop.
The motivation behind each of these unique instruments comes from the personal desire of one or more members of Ibanez's bass development team to meet the specific needs of very particular bassists. These inventions may not be for everyone, but for those eager to explore new sonic perspectives through the bass: the Ibanez Bass Workshop project could be exactly what you're looking for.
