About the Headless Series
The 'headless' construction of the EHB basses and the specially designed body allow the bassist to maintain a similar playing position whether sitting or standing. Its ergonomic and contoured design, along with its chambered body, makes it a lightweight, well-balanced, and comfortable instrument ideal for long performances or practice sessions. Additionally, the upper half of the back of the body is angled, allowing the bass to rest closer to the player's body for better control and a more ergonomic feel.
About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name comes from the Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The recession of 1929 affected the company, which closed in 1933. The Japanese market was left without supply, so in 1935 the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish-style guitars on their own and distributed them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." Later, the name was shortened to "Ibanez".
