Dual fuzz pedal combining two pedals from EarthQuaker: the Hoof and the discontinued Tone Reaper.
- Hybrid germanium and silicon fuzz
- Two pedals in one
- True bypass
- Made in the USA
The Hoof Reaper allows us to use two of the best fuzzes manufactured by EarthQuaker in a compact enclosure, with an added switch to add an octave.
Hoof
A pedal reminiscent of the Big Muff but capable of producing a lot of sustain. Its higher degree of compression and clarity makes it sharper. The Shift potentiometer determines which frequencies are affected by the Tone potentiometer, focusing more on the treble frequencies. Turned left, it cuts midrange; turning right, it boosts the midrange.
Tone Reaper
A Tone Bender-style fuzz. A hybrid circuit using germanium and silicon that offers a tonal range capable of reproducing Benders from almost any era. From a thin tone to sustain for days.
Octave
A monophonic octave that can be added to our fuzz. EarthQuaker recommends that, being monophonic, the effect will be more pronounced starting from the 12th fret on the neck pickup.
- Soft-touch relays (requires power to operate)
- Operates at 9V
- Consumes 18mA
- Input impedance 130 KOhm
- Metal enclosure
- Mono 6.3mm jack input and output
- Dimensions: 121 x 144 x 57mm
