About Manuel Rodríguez Guitars
Manuel Rodríguez, also known as MR, is a well-known brand in the flamenco and classical guitar world, recognized for crafting distinctive guitars suited for the most prominent artists worldwide, not just flamenco musicians. Each instrument is unique and individual.
The Manuel Rodríguez guitars have a long history dating back to the early 20th century. A lineage descending from the flamenco guitarist Manuel Rodríguez Marequi, dedicated to guitar making, which began with fully handcrafted production in Madrid. Later, Manuel Rodríguez emigrated to Los Angeles, where he built guitars for American actors and artists. In 1973, the brand returned to Spain with the goal of offering its catalog worldwide.
