The Wolfgang WG Standard features the same bold style and powerful sound that Eddie Van Halen created, at a price accessible to everyday musicians. Offering many of the most striking features of its higher-end siblings, the Wolfgang WG Standard has a lightweight basswood body with a specially contoured "comfortable cut" for maximum playing ease. Its roasted maple neck, bolted with graphite reinforcement rods, remains resilient against the effects of temperature and humidity. A conveniently located wheel at the base of the neck allows quick, pain-free truss rod adjustments. Designed for comfortable and fast playing, the Wolfgang WG Standard also features an oiled finish on the back of the neck and a 12"-16" compound radius roasted maple fingerboard with rounded edges, 22 jumbo frets, and black dot inlays.

Dual EVH Wolfgang humbucking pickups mounted directly onto the body enhance vibration transfer, resulting in sustain that can last for days. Two black control knobs have been fine-tuned to Eddie Van Halen’s demanding specifications: 500k potentiometers with a smooth feel make it easy to dial in a unique sound while preserving the bright, articulate high-end tone of the Wolfgang pickups. The EVH Floyd Rose locking tremolo and R2 nut keep the guitar perfectly in tune through the deepest dives and squeals.
About EVH
The initials EVH immediately evoke images of Eddie Van Halen’s extravagant riffs and solos. Alongside Peavey, Eddie collaborated on the design of his signature guitar, the EVH Wolfgang, named after his son. In 2009, he launched his own signature series, which continues to be endorsed by Fender today.
