This model features an alder body with an offset design and a bolt-on maple neck, providing a solid foundation. The purpleheart fingerboard with a 12"-16" (305 - 406 mm) compound radius and binding makes chord playing easy and allows for comfortable soloing. The 22 jumbo frets and Jackson's sculpted heel replace the traditional neck plate to offer unrestricted access to the highest notes.

The Surfcaster is full of personality and equipped with Jackson high-output humbuckers, delivering the robust, saturated, and distorted tones that define Jackson instruments. This six-string model keeps things simple with just one volume and one tone control, plus a sturdy Jackson hardtail bridge that ensures perfect tuning stability and precise setup.
