The Polara Deluxe offers an upgraded finish package compared to the basic Polara model, delivering a classic aesthetic reminiscent of 1970s design elements with modern enhancements. While the basic Polara model is minimalist, the Polara Deluxe steps up with a bound rosewood fingerboard featuring block inlays, Guild Peak and Chesterfield tuning machine inlays, a compensated Guild Stopbar tailpiece, and color options ranging from traditional transparent finishes to modern metallics.
The HB-2+ pickups are modern extensions of the highly sought-after large-sized Guild HB-1 humbuckers, built in a traditional humbucker size with Alnico V magnets. These HB-2+ pickups deliver a boutique-quality range of tones with plenty of character and voice. The Polara Deluxe features Guild's traditional pickup covers with the classic Guild double-rail design, along with 2x volume, 2x tone controls, and push/pull coil splitting for maximum tonal versatility.
