The first major client of Jackson was legendary guitarist Randy Rhoads, who asked us to create a model that met all the demands of his playing style, numerous technical requirements, and an impressive design. That initial guitar continues to evolve today to meet the needs of modern guitarists.
The Pro RR24 combines a single-layer okoume body and a three-piece maple and walnut neck that runs through the body, reinforced with two graphite rods to resist temperature and humidity changes. The fast neck profile is designed for lightning-fast playing, removing any obstacles to agile execution and providing easier access to the upper frets. With 24 jumbo stainless steel frets and pearl sharkfin inlays, the ebony fingerboard with a 12"-16" compound radius offers the perfect platform for heavy chords and swift, ripping solos.

About Jackson Guitars
Jackson began in the late 1970s, when heavy music experienced a flamboyant and virtuoso resurgence in popularity. A small guitar repair shop in Southern California, operated by Grover Jackson, responded to the call with a new generation of high-performance custom guitars bearing Jackson's own name on the headstock. Since then, Jackson guitars have been universally acclaimed as metal guitars.
