The first major client of Jackson was the legendary guitarist Randy Rhoads, who asked us to create a model that met all the demands of his playing style, numerous technical requirements, and an impressive design. That first guitar continues to evolve today to meet the needs of all modern guitarists.
The Pro RR24 combines a single-layer okoume body with a mirror top and a three-piece maple and walnut neck that runs through the body, reinforced with two graphite rods to resist temperature and humidity changes. The fast neck profile is designed for lightning-fast playing, removing any obstacles to agile playing and providing easier access to the upper frets. Featuring 24 stainless steel jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays, the 12"-16" compound radius ebony fingerboard is the perfect platform for heavy chords and fast, ripping solos.

About Jackson Guitars
Jackson started in the late 1970s, during a time when heavy music experienced a flamboyant and virtuosic resurgence in popularity. A small guitar repair shop in Southern California, operated by Grover Jackson, responded to the call with a new generation of high-performance custom guitars bearing Jackson’s name on the headstock. Since then, Jackson guitars have been universally acclaimed as metal guitars.
