The Data Corrupter is a monophonic PLL analog harmonizer with modulation. It takes your input signal and brutally amplifies it into a crushing square wave fuzz sound that multiplies, divides, and modulates to create a wild, yet repeatable, three-voice guitar synthesizer.
The Master Oscillator system is the central nervous system at the heart of the Data Corrupter's cyberpunk collective intelligence. The three-position switch on the Master Oscillator panel, called Root, introduces your input into the Data Corrupter's signal harvest in its original octave (Unison), one octave down (-1), or two octaves down (-2).

EarthQuaker Devices was founded in 2004 by musician Jamie Stillman, who began designing effect pedals after successfully repairing a broken overdrive pedal. Today, it is a manufacturer whose team is deeply passionate about music. They produce their pedals one by one, handcrafted and tested in Ohio, USA.
