Ampeg engineers based the design on the hefty SVT-VR, resulting in a head that’s as capable as its larger sibling, but more compact. This head delivers 200 watts of MOSFET power into a 4-ohm load; its ideal partner is the SVT-210AV cabinet, a rugged 2x10" with the same sealed Infinite Baffle design as the classic SVT 8x10." Together, they produce a commanding, rich tone with solid fundamentals, perfect for small gigs, rehearsals, home practice, and recording sessions. While its tone is undoubtedly its most attractive feature, its traditional appearance makes it a collectible worth owning.

About Ampeg Amplification
The Ampeg brand was created with the idea of meeting the amplification needs of bassists at the time, aiming to match the emerging electric guitar.
With the rise of Rock'n'Roll, their small tube combo amps evolved into larger units suitable for big stages and growing audiences. Interestingly, they pioneered the use of reverb in guitar amplifiers, predating Fender's famous Vibroverb.
