The PRS Stack HDRX20 + 1X12 combines the HDRX 20 tube head with its closed-back 12-inch speaker cabinet, creating a compact rig inspired by late 60s British sounds. Its “Authentic Hendrix” Touring Circuit is modeled after one of Jimi Hendrix’s personal amplifiers, delivering defined treble, expressive mids, and a dynamic response that allows seamless transition from characterful clean tones to warm, articulate overdrive.
The head delivers 20 W through two 5881 power tubes and features two internally linked channels with independent volume controls for the bass and treble sections. The Master Volume control allows for preamp saturation while maintaining a more controlled overall level. The HDRX 1x12 cabinet has a closed-back construction and houses a 70 W Celestion V-Type speaker, providing a balanced sound with deep bass, musical mids, and clear highs.
