The Starfire I Jet90, inspired by the iconic Guild models of the past and crafted with a rebellious and free-spirited individuality, combines the classic body shape of the Starfire with the sleek and sturdy aesthetics of Guild’s traditional 6-in-line headstock. Three Guild Franz P90 pickups anchored to a solid mahogany block with chambering make this guitar versatile, from crisp vintage jazz tones to overdrive. The six-way rotary switch allows players to select their preferred P90 combination for the right amount of attack in any riff, while the position indicator pins (in the style of 1950s Guilds) help keep the player guided. The Starfire I Jet90 is equipped with a Guild Vibrato tailpiece and a Tune-o-matic bridge for enhanced tonal expression and dynamic range.

About the Starfire Series
Based on the timeless body shape of the Starfire II and III, the Starfire I features a 2" thick hollow body with an additional wooden block under the bridge to increase stability and enhance resonance.
Constructed with a durable arched maple top, back, and sides, the Starfire I delivers the tone of a hollow-body instrument with bright overtones and pronounced bass. The 24¾” scale length and the modern, slim "U" profile neck provide a fast, smooth playing experience, while the high-quality Guild Vintage 18 tuners and Tune-O-matic bridge ensure accessible string action and stable tuning.
