The Guild LB-1 Little Bucker was first introduced in 1962 as an upgrade to the single-coil pickups. Tonally, it has a bit more sparkle than a traditional PAF humbucker. The resistance and inductance of these pickups are comfortably positioned between a typical single-coil and a typical humbucker, contributing to the airy character of the LB-1 without sacrificing warmth. The LB-1 has a unique size, placing it between a mini-humbucker and a full-sized humbucker.

About the Starfire
Based on the timeless shape of the Starfire II and III bodies, the Starfire I features a 2" thick hollow body with an additional wood block under the bridge to enhance bridge stability and resonance.
Constructed with a durable arched laminated top, back, and sides, the Starfire I delivers the tone of a hollow-body instrument with bright overtones and pronounced bass. The 24¾" scale length and the modern, slim "U" profile neck provide a fast, smooth playing experience, while the high-quality Guild Vintage 18 tuning machines and Tune-O-Matic bridge ensure easy string access and stable tuning.
