Description

The hollowbody Gretsch Players Edition features Gretsch's most original sound and style, while incorporating cutting-edge features for maximum power, comfort and versatility.

The new FT-67 Filter'Tron™ humbucking pickups were designed to capture the authentic vintage Gretsch voice but with a fuller tone for modern playing styles. This powerful pair of pickups delivers pristine, open treble, glassy midrange, robust bass and balanced harmonics for a tone that blends seamlessly with other instruments.

The innovative Gretsch ‘ML’ bracing delivers a huge hollow-body sound from the comfortable 2.5’ deep maple body. The control complement (separate bridge and neck volume controls, three-way pickup toggle switch, unloaded master tone and master volume) allows for infinite tonal variations.

About Grestch

Gretsch was founded in 1883 in Brooklyn by Friederich Gretsch, who made a name for himself in the manufacture of percussion instruments. In 1939 he launched his first Gretsch electric guitar, the Electromatic Spanish. Great artists such as Chet Atkins have used instruments from this manufacturer, putting them on the world stage.
