About the Artcore Series
Ibanez introduced the Artcore series for the first time in 2002, and it has since become a staple for musicians worldwide. The combination of high-quality craftsmanship and affordability has built a legion of dedicated fans across genres such as blues, country, rock, and jazz. Artcore instruments offer players the purity of a vintage jazz box or a semi-hollow hybrid rock guitar. The line is highly regarded for its tone, sustain, and expressiveness.
About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name comes from the Spanish luthier Salvador Ibanez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, leading to its closure in 1933. The Japanese market became underserved, prompting the importer in 1935 to start manufacturing Spanish guitars under the name "Ibanez Salvador," which later changed to simply "Ibanez".
