Our Opinion
The AM73G is an especially appealing option for players looking to achieve semi-hollow tone without moving to a larger hollow-body guitar. Its compact body is comfortable both seated and standing, making it suitable for musicians used to solid-body guitars.
We recommend it for blues, jazz, soul, pop, or classic rock, particularly when a warm, full-bodied sound is desired but with enough clarity to handle clean chords and solos with moderate overdrive. The gold hardware and black finish also give it a much more elegant presence compared to typical models in this range.
