Description


The Ionizer 8™ Neck, Middle & Bridge pickups were designed for Tosin Abasi. 8-string guitars have an extended response in bass and treble, and the mids need to be boosted at the bridge position so the sound doesn't fade. It's also beneficial to have a sufficiently high output to overload an amplifier without muddying the tone, and enough headroom to clean up when lowering the volume.
