Description

The Gretsch G5022CWFE Rancher Falcon is a jumbo electro-acoustic guitar that brings the iconic White Falcon aesthetic to the acoustic realm. Its glossy white finish, Gold Sparkle binding, gold hardware, and the distinctive triangular Rancher soundhole create an instrument with a stage presence that's hard to overlook.

Its solid spruce top, combined with arched laminated maple sides and back, delivers a broad, well-defined sound with the projection characteristic of a jumbo body. The Fishman Presys III system allows direct connection to an amplifier or PA system, offering three-band EQ, a built-in tuner, and a battery indicator.

Our Opinion

This Rancher Falcon is an especially appealing choice for players seeking an electro-acoustic with a lot of personality, both sonically and visually. The jumbo body works particularly well for wide strumming, vocal accompaniment, and situations where good projection and stage presence are required.

Its size is larger than a dreadnought or auditorium, so it may not be the most comfortable option for those prioritizing a compact body. However, for live performances, it offers an attractive combination of visual impact, acoustic volume, and sound control thanks to the integrated Fishman preamp.
