Premium Series
The Tokai Premium series employs a manufacturing method called 'SEB construction' (Sound Effect Body). Its fully vertical grain pattern allows the sound to expand much more quickly.
The neck-to-body joint in Tokai Premium models is of the 'Long Tennon' type, meaning the neck features a tenon that extends up to the pickup frame of the neck pickup. Gluing this tenon to the body results in better vibration transmission between the body and neck and, consequently, increased sustain.
