The LTD 1000 series guitars are designed to deliver the tone, feel, appearance, and quality that professional musicians demand in an instrument. The LTD EC-1000 has consistently ranked among the world's most popular guitar models for the past 20 years, offering a high-quality single-cutaway guitar shape built for serious players at an accessible price.
The "T" in the EC-1000T stands for "traditional," referring to its full-body thickness without a cutaway at the lower horn, but it features chambered construction to reduce weight and ensure comfortable play during long performances and recording sessions. It boasts a flame maple top on a mahogany body, with a three-piece mahogany neck and a Macassar ebony fingerboard.
The EC-1000T achieves its sound through a set of high-performance passive Seymour Duncan Sentient (neck) and Pegasus (bridge) pickups, which are splitable via a push-pull control to produce stunning tones for metal, rock, fusion, progressive, and other genres. It includes flag inlays, full body/neck/tuner binding, and premium components such as LTD locking tuners and a TonePros Locking TOM bridge and tailpiece. Available in Black Natural Burst finish.
