About Black Mountain
The Black Mountain thumb pick was invented by Cole McBride, a full-time guitar instructor.
He was searching for the perfect pick for his students and himself. After trying hundreds of different picks, he realized there was room for innovation and set out to create a new type of pick.
He spent a lot of time experimenting with different designs, and then had the idea to add a spring.
