About the Perkins EQ
The Perkins EQ was developed by Cal Perkins, starting from the Wien Bridge circuit topology, a highly musical design inspired by the classic "British" consoles of the 60s and 70s. This design essentially swaps the boost/cut capability for a broader, highly musical Q filter.
