The IR-200 transforms your pedalboard into a standalone direct tone solution for live performances, studio recording, and practice. High-Resolution Stereo IR Playback
Equipped with two powerful custom DSPs, the IR-200 offers outstanding IR performance with mono and stereo files, 32-bit floating-point resolution at 96 kHz, and up to 500 ms length, resulting in a natural bass response. The 144 BOSS IRs and 10 from Celestion Digital cover a broad range of cabinet and mic combinations, ready to use in your patches. With the IR-200 IR Loader software for macOS and Windows, you can load up to 128 (mono) or 64 (stereo) IR WAV files from your personal collection.
Premium Guitar and Bass Amp Sounds
The amp simulations in the IR-200 sound fantastic and deliver great feel, responding well to saturation and other pedals in front. Eight guitar amps provide essential platforms—from clean classic, tweed, and Class A to vintage and modern high-gain tones—while three bass amps offer rich, full-bodied sounds from clean to saturated. All amp types include gain, bass, mid, and treble controls that respond smoothly, allowing quick setup of basic tones, and a noise suppressor helps tame high-gain buzz. You can also bypass the amp section entirely and use the IR-200's high-quality cabinet IRs with an external cab/amp modeler or load box.
Advanced Tone Control
The IR-200 allows you to create all kinds of configurations using sound modeling tools and 128 memories. Use different amps for each style, fine-tune with two parametric or graphic EQs, and add space with one of three ambient effects. You can run two IRs simultaneously to blend sounds or create your own with a wide stereo field. There's also an effects loop that can be placed before or after the IR section, with stereo effects, series/parallel operation, and more. Two global EQs at the end of the chain provide the final tonal adjustments.
Stage-Ready Performance
The IR-200's display, panel controls, and flexible connectivity enable confident stage operation. Use dedicated knobs to tweak sounds on the fly and send independent signals to a stage amp and the local PA via the two output jacks. Scroll through memories with two integrated pedal switches while performing, and control functions with external pedal switches or an expression pedal. MIDI control is also available, allowing connection to other pedals and MIDI gear such as ES-8 and ES-5 loop switchers.
Ready for Recording and Streaming
Beyond its powerful features, the IR-200 functions as an excellent USB audio interface for music recording and streaming software. Dedicated drivers provide full audio interface capabilities on Mac and Windows computers, while stereo audio streaming is possible with iOS devices. Record tracks and monitor audio with your DAW, reamp sounds through the pedal and amps, or perform live with incredible direct tone for your streaming platforms.
Practice, Monitor, and Jam with Backing Tracks
The IR-200 also includes a headphone jack for monitoring while practicing, recording, or performing live. You can listen in stereo through headphones or switch to an immersive surround effect for a more engaging experience. An auxiliary input is available for playing jam tracks or backing music from your phone, mixer, or other audio device.
