Manufacturas Alhambra introduced a new line of steel-string guitars at Musikmesse 2011 in Germany. Marketed under the name "Appalachian," this line was developed in collaboration with professional guitarists. The Alhambra Appalachian models feature a solid Cedar top, with laminated Sapelli back and sides (W100) or Indian Rosewood back and sides (W300). The string action is set at 2.2 mm on the 6th string and 1.7 mm on the 1st string, making them exceptionally comfortable to play.
