The neck construction contributes to massive sustain and smooth access to the upper positions on the fingerboard.

The Bubinga top offers tight lows and a cutting-edge midrange, while the Ash/Okoume body provides a pleasing brightness and rich sustain.

The T1 pickup is a humbucker with two individually mounted coils, providing tight bass response and punchy mids. It offers a versatile voice suitable for various genres, with each coil height adjustable for nuanced tone shaping. In addition to its excellent sound, the physical design features rounded edges for greater ergonomic comfort when using the pickup as a thumb rest. The individually mounted coils can be slightly offset from each other, making the thumb support surface directly parallel to the strings—something uncommon in most multi-scale basses. This design greatly enhances playing comfort and ease of execution.

The 35-33.5 inch multi-scale construction allows easier access to the highest strings while maintaining proper tension for the lower strings.

About Ibanez
Ibanez is a manufacturer of guitars and basses based in Japan. The name derives from Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, leading to its closure in 1933. The Japanese market was left underserved, so in 1935, the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish guitars under the name "Ibanez Salvador," which was later shortened to simply "Ibanez."
