The Timmy Overdrive from MXR features a very simple interface. With its different clipping types, you can achieve anything from a very transparent saturation to a more aggressive and punchy tone.
The pedal is based on a design by veteran pedal builder Paul Cochrane, who is widely recognized among top professionals.
- Mini switch for three different clipping modes:
- Left: asymmetric, moderate saturation, and low compression
- Center: symmetric, very light saturation, wide 'headroom'
- Right: symmetric, high saturation, and heavily compressed
- Independent gain and volume controls
- Bass and treble controls
- High-visibility blue LED
- Powered by 9V DC
- No battery support
- True Hardwire bypass
