Blending elements of the past, present, and future, these instruments resonate in a truly unique way. Featuring X-bracing, a solid top, and solid mahogany back and sides, the Malibu Special is a compact parlor-style instrument with an impressive tone that is precise, dynamic, and delicate.
Its unmatched comfort allows for hours of playing.

The neck features a comfortable "Slim C" profile, a short 24" (610 mm) scale length, and a reverse-angled headstock with six aligned tuning machines, giving it a distinctive look rooted in Fender's electric guitar DNA. Its vintage-style tuners allow for smooth and accurate tuning, while the binding and maple rosette add a luxurious touch. The nut and saddle contribute to the excellent harmonic character of this guitar. The Fishman Flex Body preamp system is designed for live performance. It combines a piezo pickup under the bridge with a transducer inside the body to faithfully reproduce the guitar's natural tone with high fidelity and reliability when connected to an amplifier, sound system, or recording device.
