Description

Inspired by the historic “Rex” line of instruments offered via mail-order catalogs in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s, the Jim Dandy models embody the charm and spirit of those early flat-top Gretsch guitars, combined with exceptional playability and refined tone that lives up to its namesake. With a small, portable parlour body and a short 24" scale length, the Jim Dandy Deltoluxe Parlor offers a lightweight feel with distinctive tonal clarity and a warm midrange that makes parlour guitars so beloved.

The X-braced body is crafted from lightweight laminated tonewoods selected for an optimal balance between vintage wood tone and reliable durability, while the “C” shaped neck provides a comfortable feel for hours of vintage-inspired playing. The built-in Gretsch Deltoluxe magnetic pickup delivers versatile amplified acoustic tone, adding extra utility for live performances, recording, and effects pedals.

About GRETSCH

Gretsch was founded in 1883 in Brooklyn by Friederich Gretsch, who gained a strong reputation for manufacturing percussion instruments. In 1939, they launched their first electric guitar, the Electromatic Spanish. Renowned artists like Chet Atkins have used instruments from this manufacturer, bringing them to the global stage.
