The Fender Custom Shop Texas Special Tele pickups are designed to deliver increased output, presence, and a remarkable midrange. The nickel/silver cover on the neck pickup helps produce a warmer tone, characteristic of the classic Texas sound.
They are built to provide enhanced output, presence, and midrange response. These Tele pickups feature more turns of wire for higher output and are made with Alnico 5 magnets and enamel-coated magnet wire. The bridge pickup includes staggered high-output magnets and a copper-plated steel base plate.
