"Room" Control
Iridium features a hybrid room ambience design that combines 256 ms impulse responses from real rooms to deliver realistic early reflections. This setup places your amplifier and cabinet in a room with a natural sound, creating a space for your amplifier to open up and breathe.
- Adjust the amount of room ambience
- Select between small, medium, or large room sizes
Analog/Digital
The Iridium input features a discrete, ultra-low noise class A JFET preamp circuit that provides up to 20 dB of pure analog gain. This variable-gain JFET circuit works in harmony with DSP to create the tube-driven input stage of each Iridium amplifier. This hybrid approach combines the best of both analog and digital worlds.
The JFET stage acts as an analog input buffer, offering exceptional tactile sensitivity and dynamic interaction with your guitar, while enhancing noise performance. The incredibly powerful SHARC DSP enables complex, detailed response and processing for each tube amplifier circuit.
- Simple, intuitive controls: Gain, Level, and 3-band EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble)
- Stereo input (requires TRS jack)
- Stereo output
- Works with line-level or instrument-level impedances
- Expression pedal input
- MIDI control accessible via the EXP connector for remote parameter control and access to 300 presets (requires a Strymon MIDI EXP cable or a MIDI to TRS interface)
