With the Earthquaker Devices Astral Destiny, Akron, Ohio's renowned effects pedal company introduces a highly versatile octave reverb pedal designed to create dreamy soundscapes.
In addition to the sought-after shimmer effects Octave Up and Octave Down, the Astral Destiny offers a pure reverb with rich sonic characteristics and expansive echoes with pitch bending, where the Length control determines the decay time of the reverb tail. To further color the reverberation sounds, the EQD Astral Destiny is equipped with an adjustable depth and speed Chorus effect that operates on the reverb tail. Moreover, the pedal features a Stretch function that doubles the decay time and temporarily shifts the pitch of the echoed sound to produce expressive reflections. Finally, the Astral Destiny can be used in true bypass mode with buffer, with decaying reverb tails, or switched to true bypass.
