BigSky MX features incredible processing power: it uses a high-performance triple-core ARM processor running at 800 MHz, dedicated to producing truly stunning reverberations. Our new reverb algorithms were meticulously handcrafted, and then optimized using state-of-the-art gradient descent algorithms to eliminate any undesirable timbres or artifacts. This type of neural tuning is based on the same techniques that have fueled the recent AI revolution, resulting in reverbs that drip and splash, spatial environments you can truly feel, and the sweetest musical response to every note you play.

Two reverbs simultaneously.
BigSky MX allows you to run two reverbs at the same time, creating a powerful, expansive sound that organically evolves over time. You can switch between reverb engines with a single button press during editing and easily view the routing status (Series, Parallel, or Split) clearly on the display. For a more interactive experience, you can use a pedal to control the activation/deactivation of each reverb if desired.

BigSky MX features seven newly developed reverb algorithms from scratch, along with new functions and enhancements for the classic BigSky algorithms. Impulse and Chamber were specifically created for BigSky MX, while Spring, Plate, Hall, Room, and Shimmer feature entirely new, handcrafted algorithms that also give you access to BigSky's original sounds. Each reverb type includes new sounds and features ready for exploration.
