Gerald Veasley has shared stages and tours with Miles Davis and Dizzy Gillespie. Gerald was recently named "Best Electric Bassist" in the annual reader poll of Jazziz magazine, and Philadelphia Magazine named him Best Jazz Band. Veasley was nominated and voted as president of the Philadelphia chapter of NARAS "The Grammy People," and author Allan Slutsky credits him as a key collaborator on his classic book/CD set, "Standing In The Shadows Of Mo-Town - The Life and Music of the legendary bassist James Jamerson."

About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name derives from Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, which closed in 1933. The Japanese market was left underserved, so in 1935 the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish guitars on its own, distributing them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." Later, the name was shortened to "Ibanez".
