About Ibanez Signature
The Signature series features various Ibanez models, each adapted to the specific artist's needs with more or less extensive modifications. The basic idea behind Signature guitars is that the artist can replace "their" guitar anywhere in the world, allowing them to play the same model as their idol. Many features of Signature guitars have now become part of the mass production line.
About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name is derived from Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, leading to its closure in 1933. The Japanese market was left underserved, so the importer decided in 1935 to start manufacturing Spanish-style guitars independently, distributing them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." Later, the name was shortened to "Ibanez".
