Description

The Sterling Jared Dines StingRay is the only StingRay model with 24 frets and hot-rodded dual humbucking pickups. The guitar features a mahogany body, a hard maple neck with a vintage-style tremolo bridge, and gold hardware; additionally, the Dines has a unique design with a Kill Switch and a dual tone/volume control. Available only in black finish.

In addition to the 24 frets and custom pickups, the main exclusive features of this model are found in the control layout. Jared was bothered by the position of the volume pot being too close to the bridge, so he requested that to prevent accidental bumps, the volume and tone controls be combined into a concentric potentiometer placed farther away, and that the kill switch switch.
