Gary Holt of Slayer and Exodus is a legend in the thrash metal world. His LTD Signature Series GH-600 is based on the Eclipse body style and designed to withstand the most aggressive, fast, and powerful playing you can deliver. Its tone is driven by a pair of active EMG pickups covered in red: the EMG 89R at the neck, with a coil-splitting control via a volume knob pull switch, and the EMG 81 at the bridge.
The GH-600 features a through-body neck design, with a three-piece mahogany neck providing smooth, unobstructed access to the higher frets on its Macassar ebony fingerboard. The guitar's style is accentuated with red binding on the body, neck, and headstock, contrasting with its Black or Snow White finish. The GH-600 includes a Floyd Rose tremolo and Grover tuning machines.
