This Vai signature model is innovative in every aspect. It replaces the previous handle that characterized this guitar with the Petal Grip, giving it a more balanced aesthetic.
It features one of the fastest necks Ibanez has produced to date, an absolute pleasure to play. Slim and super comfortable, this neck allows you to run and arpeggiate at lightning speed with ease, while still providing the substance needed to hold chords when necessary. Additionally, it has received the Prestige treatment on the edges, which essentially rounds the fretboard edges, making the fingerboard feel even smoother.
The rear cavity for the springs is magnetically recessed into the body for easy removal, streamlining the string change process.

About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name derives from the Spanish luthier Salvador Ibanez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession impacted the company, leading to its closure in 1933. The Japanese market was left underserved, so in 1935 the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish guitars independently, distributing them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." Later, the name was shortened to "Ibanez".
