- 6-string electric bass in BTB style
- Ash / Okoume body
- Passive Bartolini BH2 pickups

The 5-piece maple/walnut neck provides tonal clarity and a superior attack. The graphite reinforcement rods deliver great sustain and excellent balance, along with a rosewood fingerboard offers a solid tone with a focused midrange.
The Bartolini BH2 pickups deliver tight lows, a punchy midrange, and a smooth response. The humbucking style configuration maximizes articulation, and a long-pole blade extends the magnetic field, providing a balanced string-to-string response.

About Ibanez Bass Workshop
For over 40 years, Ibanez has been pioneering new frontiers in bass development, pushing the boundaries of conventional designs for bassists of all styles and skill levels to explore new ways of expression. This spirit of exploration has led to the creation of some of the most successful and popular production basses of all time. It is this same drive to bring fresh and relevant ideas to the forefront that serves as the foundation for an ongoing exploratory project, aptly named the Ibanez Bass Workshop.
The motivation behind each of these unique instruments comes from the personal desire of one or more members of Ibanez's bass development team to meet the needs of very specific bass players. These inventions may not be for everyone, but for those eager to explore new sonic perspectives through the bass: the Ibanez Bass Workshop project could be exactly what you're looking for.
About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name comes from the Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, which closed in 1933. The Japanese market was left unserved, so the importer decided in 1935 to start manufacturing Spanish guitars on its own and distributed them under the name "Ibanez Salvador". Later, the name was changed to "Ibanez".
