Manuel Rodríguez guitars have a long history dating back to the early 20th century. A lineage descended from flamenco guitarist Manuel Rodríguez Marequi dedicated to guitar making, starting with fully handcrafted construction in Madrid. Later, Manuel Rodríguez moved to Los Angeles, where he built guitars for American actors and artists. In 1973, the company returned to Spain to offer its catalog to the global market.
